Kunst i Paasken 2013
Danish Culture Minister Grethe Fogh Rostbøll and Foreign Minister
Per Stig Møller sent me a letter in november 2012 with an invitation
to participate in Rotary International's major exhibition in the
"Metronome" concert hall in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen 2013, by
donating a work of art to help supply electricity to disabled
children's home Naro Moru in Kenya, by construction of a solar power
generator that gives physically disabled children (3 - 18 years) a
chance at a better life.
My gift was a painting on canvas with designs from Gudhjem,
Bornholm. Opening was on March 27 by Culture Minister Per Stig
Møller.

Sunny Provence
In May Sven Åke made a working trip to Provence in the south of France. He visited the Luberon National Park, with it's charming villages Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Les beaux des Provence.
|
Huge fields of red poppies and yellow broom decorated the landscape of Provence. A wonderful mixture of the smell of flowers on the warm wind was like experiencing paradise!
Paintings from this trip can be found on page 1 - 2 och 3 of this website.
